So, Tumblr informed me again that it had found and blocked “adult content”. The really annoying thing is that they didn’t write which posts they have blocked. Because these posts are actually completely hidden, you can’t find them quickly in the archive. So you have to scroll through all your entries. However, like everyone else, I really have better things to do than check all my posts again and again - a job that takes hours. I’ve therefore decided to let my account rest - in the hope that this censorship algorithm will eventually be abolished, or at least will work so “well” that it won’t constantly block things that definitely aren’t “adult content”. And maybe it’s really time to look for an alternative. I don’t want to fight this ridiculous running battle anymore. That’s no way to deal with the people who provide the content for this platform. I would be pleased if you write me (here as a comment) your experiences of the last weeks with Tumblr and how you deal with it.
